| Ein paar Hängematten unterm Dach. Wer hart gearbeitet hat, freut sich auf ein paar Minuten relaxen in der Horizontalen. Die kleine Box im Hintergrund ist einer der unzähligen Bienenstöcke in der Station. | A few hammocks beneath the roof. Having worked hard people really look forward to a few minutes chilling in a horizontal position. The small box in the back is one of the many bee hives at the station. | ||||||

| Wer auf seine saubergeputzte Resopalküche zuhause stolz ist, mag den Küchenbetrieb in der Station anfangs befremdlich finden. Aber gibt es zuhause auch den direkten und offenen Blick aus der Küche in den Wald? | People who are proud of their modern clean kitchen at home may find the station´s kitchen service a bit strange at first. But does your kitchen at home offer you a direct and clear view straight into the rainforest? | ||||||

| An dem Tisch gibt es Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen. Die Kritiker sind sich nicht einig, ob es Reis mit Bohnen waren oder Bohnen mit Reis ... und: auch VegetarierInnen werden angemessen durchgefüttert. | At this table breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. Critics don´t agree on whether it was rice on beans or beans on rice….. and: vegetarians are fed appropiately as well. | ||||||

| Blick in eines der Schlafzimmer. Meist sind es Zweibettzimmer, die nur durch dünne Stoffwände getrennt sind. Die Bauweise ist luftig und offen, dadurch ist es sehr angenehm kühl in der Station. | One of the bedrooms. Mostly they are twin rooms, which are only separated by thin walls of cloth. The station has an open design and is thus cool and very comfortable. | ||||||

| Das Bett eines übervorsichtigen Menschen. Bisher gibt es aufgrund der 'heilen' Waldstruktur um die Station kaum Moskitos. Ein Moskitonetz wird nicht gebraucht. Vorsichtige Menschen haben trotzdem eines mit dabei. Bettwäsche wird gestellt. | That´s the bed of a cautious person. Up to now there´s hardly any mosquitoes at the station because of the healthy structure of the forest around. There´s no mosquito net needed. Cautious people still have one. Bedding is provided. | ||||||

| Je nach Jahreszeit regnet es mehr oder weniger. Der meiste Regen geht nachmittags oder nachts nieder. Deshalb kann und wird morgens meist draußen gearbeitet. Denn wenn es regnet, regnet es. Richtig. | According to the season it rains more or less. Most of the rain falls in the afternoon or at night. Therefore outdoor work is mostly done in the mornings. For when it rains it really does rain. | ||||||
